Introduction | February 2016

Hi everyone! I'm Rachel from @naildesignbyrachel on Instagram! I mostly do nail art on my Instagram page but I have been really into swatching and doing reviews of products on my second account, @myindieswatches, as well as my youtube channel. Since I don't always have time to film and edit videos, I figured this would be the best way to share some of my opinions!

I'm going to just share a little bit about myself to start things off. I've been doing nail art for about five years. It started out with some simple zebra stripe nails (really just a bunch of lines!) that I would do once a week but it eventually progressed to more advanced techniques like water marbling.

I had no idea how to pose my hands or to properly clean up around my nail but it was something that I enjoyed! I finally decided to create an Instagram account in March of 2014. It has been one of the best decisions I have made! I have been able to connect with thousands of people who share a similar passion and it has been incredible!

I'm hoping to use this blog as a way to give in-depth reviews of products/collections because I love taking pictures! I usually feel limited as to how many photos I should post on my Instagram but I feel that it is important to see certain polishes in various settings & lighting.
